Files, previews and results
Tell apart editable Task files, live previews and saved or published results.
Three different things
- Task files are the editable source and working files used by conversations on the Task.
- Live preview runs the current work so you can inspect it. It depends on the execution environment being available.
- Saved Result is a confirmed uploaded, immutable output attributed to its Task, originating Session and revision. Its availability depends on the output type and Workspace flow.
Viewing the current Task file or a live preview does not create an immutable saved Result, and a preview is not an external publication. Result delivery depends on the output type and Workspace support. Where available, readable text, Markdown, images and HTML can be shown in an appropriate viewer; other file types may be offered as authenticated downloads.
Saving and sharing
An immutable Result is a separate artifact tied to its source Session and revision, with its own confirmed upload and access metadata. It is available only when that output type and Workspace flow are supported. A confirmed uploaded Result can remain available while the Host is offline; editable source files remain in the Task work area.
Keep visibility clear
Workspace and Session permissions govern internal access. Manifoldone Pages publishing is available only in selected, enabled Workspaces and requires an explicit publish action with a confirmed status and result URL. Published Pages use unlisted links: anyone with the link can view them, so do not publish private material. Vercel delivery also depends on Workspace configuration. A link’s existence does not change who can access the underlying Task.
